on the way down the coast from San Francisco to Santa Barbara in a Tour-de-luxe, & was so glad - Hoover was to receive his nomination notice the following day, & as we drove past the great stadium, the driver called out cheerfully "This is where Herbert Hoover is to be notified tomorrow, that he is to be the next president!" California is simply wild over him & we do hope he & Prohibition will win.
